It is a battle. We must break down the strong holds, cast dow the arguments, bring every thought into captivity. Our attitudes affect our marriages, our ministries, and ourselves.
As believers and mentors we want to live a life of gratitude. We want to teach those in our care to be grateful. It is a battle we fight to maintain this attitude. Think on the enemies that might already be in your heart and mind fighting you to stop you from having an Attitude of Gratitude.
As we work to develop our attitude of gratitude, God gives us steps to victory. It is a battle, there are enemies, but God is bigger. He tells us how to have the victory.
The attitude of gratitude is about a lot more than just positive thinking or self-image. It is about spiritual warfare. It is about us staying where God put us. It is about standing firm in the Lord.
In our hunger and desire to live in the Attitude of Gratitude, we find out it is a battle to live that way. We have seen the enemies of gratitude. We have seen the steps to victory. We learned that we must lift our shield of faith. Now we examine actual ways that Satan attacks us.
To maintain an Attitude of Gratitude in the spiritual battle, we need to know how to defend ourselves. Victory is ours in Christ. Let's learn to live in victory.
God has given us the victory. He wants us to enjoy life and Him. He wants us to maintain the Attitude of Gratitude. He is our Lord and Saviour. We will believe Him and trust Him. We have more joy than those that do not have Victory in Jesus.
